Hi! I’m Shubhangi Chuhadia, I'm an award-winning industrial designer based in Seattle. I lead everything we do here at Studio Blankslate : from the first sketch to the final prototype, and every conversation in between.
Before design, I studied chemical engineering at IIT Bombay, one of India’s top engineering schools. It gave me a way of thinking I still rely on - systems, structure, clarity. But it wasn’t the kind of work I wanted to spend my life doing.
So I moved to San Francisco and earned an MFA in Industrial Design at California College of the Arts. That’s where I learned how to shape physical things with purpose and how to design for people and brands.
Today, I run a one-person design studio focused on bringing physical products to life. I work with early-stage startups, stealth companies, global brands, design-studios and individuals building something new.
Outside of work, I make pottery, play a competitive game of table tennis, and occasionally get too invested in my latte art. I also love to travel - Vietnam, in particular, keeps calling me back!
